The "Parks-in-Peril" Site Conservation Planning (SCP) process has identified the Yellow Boa as a conservation target. The small amount of money allocated to "Continue measures of success monitoring of Yellow Boa CAP conservation target" means that we will need to leverage this work with other funds/projects to conduct proper surveys.

Windsor Research Centre has an ongoing project to collect data and to sensitise farmers and communities to the value of these snakes.
